Sturbridge Advanced Learning (SAL) is a nonprofit corporation formed for the purpose of providing individual or small group educational course study through afterschool and summer programs.  SAL supports the advancement of core subject learning as well as the arts.  SAL seeks to facilitate students’ development of high level critical thinking skills and mastery of applying learned concepts.  

At SAL we recognize that children learn in different styles.  SAL teachers help each child find his or her individual style to become a lifelong learner. SAL teachers offer creative, unique approaches to remind children how fun learning can be.  Our small classes also remind teachers how much fun it is to step away from assessment based learning and to educate their students in exciting new directions.  We encourage creativity, individuality and academic exploration.
